ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • On Monday around 7:50 p.m., a fire at Deckner Manor Apartments on Deckner Avenue displaced three people—one firefighter was taken to a local hospital for heat-related issues as crews quickly controlled the blaze and began investigating the cause.  WTAQ

CULTURE NEWS

  • Grammy-nominated Keith Anderson will perform his Pickin’ Wildflowers 20th Anniversary Tour at the Meyer Theatre on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $53.25 and go on sale Thursday, Aug. 14 at 11 a.m.  FOX 11

FINANCE NEWS

  • Homeowners are told to ask their agents about extra flood coverage because most basic policies do not cover flood damage, said Joe Havel from American Family Insurance. Green Bay public works say they are ready for heavy water events and tell residents to clear their gutters—especially near the East River.  94.3 Jack FM

REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • Green Bay officials and Three Sixty Real Estate Solutions are planning a multi-phase development at 200 N. Monroe Avenue that will build 160 apartments and 24 townhomes with a 10,000-square-foot space reserved for a grocer — though talks with potential grocers have so far been unfruitful. The developer has until mid-January to finalize plans and hopes to break ground next spring with the full project completed in 2028.  FOX 11

SPORTS NEWS

  • Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love will undergo a procedure on his left hand and miss practice — he is expected to return for the season opener as confirmed by the team general manager. The team will travel to Indianapolis for a preseason game against the Colts at noon Saturday.  WTAQ
