The Packers are 5-3 after a 27-19 win over the Carolina Panthers at Lambeau Field on Thu., Oct. 29, and now get a mini-bye. Jordan Love went 30 of 41 for 288 yards and three touchdowns.

Christian Watson stole the show. He broke a rib on a 53-yard catch, left in an ambulance and returned to a huge ovation in the second half. “I see Christian running out, and he was just resurrected,” Love said.

The Brewers dropped by after their first-ever World Series title, and brought Bernie Brewer and the Racing Sausages. Safety Evan Williams said, “That was probably the loudest crowd I've heard in Lambeau, besides some really big plays.”

Packers

The Packers are targeting Nov. 25 against the Rams for Micah Parsons' return

If you've been waiting on Micah Parsons, mark Thanksgiving Eve. Ian Rapoport reported the Packers and Parsons are targeting Nov. 25 for his return against the Los Angeles Rams.

Parsons' road back runs from a December ACL tear to a Nov. 25 target

  • Games missed so far: the first eight
  • Next steps: practice, then individual drills, then team drills
  • Before the Rams: the Patriots, then the Vikings

Dairyland Express says the Packers have been extra cautious while their young linebackers grow. A Nov. 25 return would give Parsons a chance to play the final seven regular-season games.

He is expected to miss at least two more games before the Rams game.

Packers

Jordan Love is putting up big numbers even with receivers dropping passes

Wisconsin Sports Heroics argues Jordan Love is having an MVP-caliber season even though his completion percentage is 61.5%. Packers pass catchers have 18 drops, the most in the NFL, and Matthew Golden has eight of them. If half were caught, Love would be at 64.8%.

Found this little guy (Wednesday) in need of help on the I43 Allouez Ave overpass on Wed.

“afternoon. Car after car was going around it so we parked at the end of the op and walked back to it. We originally thought it was a seagull, but turned out to be this beautiful little hawk. Well, actually not so little. He got away for a moment in our garage and tried to fly so we got to see his wingspread close-up…”

Leftover pumpkins have a second act at the NEW Zoo, where goats, moose and porcupines like to eat donated pumpkins. The birds peck holes in them and eat the seeds, and the cats, carnivores or not, like to scratch them. Local sanctuaries are taking pumpkins too. Nom nom nom.
