The Green Bay Parks Department has launched its summer Parkee Program today so that children from six to 18 and younger children with an adult can join sports, crafts and game activities at local parks from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until August 15—sites will be closed on July 4 and 31 and a summer food program also starts today to serve meals.

Discover Green Bay announced that tourism in Brown County boomed in 2024 with 6.5 million visitors and a $1.407 billion economic impact—placing the county among the top five for visitor spending.

Brad Toll said his team is planning major convention events to boost tourism in 2025 and beyond.
