CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Country music star Lauren Alaina will headline Paperfest in Kimberly this summer, marking its first time featuring a national female headliner. The free concert is set for 9:30 p.m. on July 17, with more events running from July 16 to 19. FOX 11
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Jesse Kreiling earned her bachelor’s in Water Science at UW-Green Bay on April 8 and began her role as a Stormwater Engineer at the Town of Grand Chute. She credited supportive faculty, hands-on labs, and a strong network for preparing her to tackle water challenges. UW-Green Bay
- ➤ Green Bay School Board approved Michael Hernandez as the new superintendent with a $230,000 first-year salary and benefits including relocation assistance and a $500 monthly rent allowance; his two-year contract starts July 1 with optional daily prep pay in June. Green Bay Press-Gazette
