- ➤ The Howard-Suamico School District will ask voters on April 7 to decide on two referendums (a seven-year, $7 million plan for operational costs like teacher pay and small classes and a $147 million measure for school updates including Bay Port High) without raising the current tax rate. - ➤ Brown County residents will see a 6.6% increase in sewer and storm water rates starting this month as their water bills rise, with about $1.68 added monthly per average household. - ➤ Starting this month, Brown County residents face higher water bills because sewer rates increased 6.6% — adding about $1.68 per month — to fund aging pipes, while Green Bay's sanitary sewer rates rose 2.84% with a $5 quarterly stormwater fee increase. WTAQ
- ➤ Bellevue Street will be closed to traffic on Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Elkay Lane — detour routes include East Mason Street, Lime Kiln Road, and Verlin Road while access to nearby residences and businesses remains open. FOX 11
