  • The Tavern League of Wisconsin offers free SafeRide rides this New Year’s Eve to help neighbors get home safely. Operated by TLW member establishments (a program running for over 30 years), it only transports riders home to curb drunk driving statewide.  NBC 26

  • FOX 11 unveiled a new studio in 2025 that features large monitor walls with nine million LED lights and dedicated sets for weather and sports. The station broadcast from a temporary set during construction and plans to push further innovation in 2026.  FOX 11

  • Northern lights may brighten Wisconsin skies tonight as NOAA forecasts a KP index of five and clear conditions in Green Bay, Milwaukee, and Appleton. Residents are advised to seek dark spots between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. for better views.  Green Bay Press-Gazette
