  • The Green Bay Packers organization raised over $32,000 for the Salvation Army this holiday season through autograph sessions, a bell-ringing competition, and a $20,000 donation via Amazon’s TNF for Good initiative, supporting the Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay’s Red Kettle campaign goal of $1.33 million.  WNCY
  • Rick's Toy Box, a nonprofit known for handmade toys for kids in need, is asking for donations as founder Rick Brunner recovers from surgery and limited ReStore operations. His nonprofit, which supports communities locally and abroad (Ukraine and Israel), relies on these funds during the busy holiday season.  WBAY

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Green Bay Public Market announced today it reached 87% of its $8.5 million goal, which may lead to resumed construction on the Old Fort Square project that will host 20 local vendors. The development is expected to boost local economic activity and spur nearby growth.  WNCY

HEALTH NEWS

  • Fleet Feet Fox Valley organizes 8 a.m. coffee runs on Saturday mornings to help locals stay active outdoors this winter. The group will also launch its 12-week 2026 Winter Warriors virtual program on Thursday, Jan. 1.  FOX 11

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Packers-Ravens game will be played on Dec. 27 at 7 p.m. with warmer-than-usual weather expected at kickoff—official forecasts show only a slight chance of rain then, with more chances after the game.  Green Bay Press-Gazette
  • Former Packers PR director Lee Remmel, who began his career in the 1940s as a sport writer, will be honored in June 2026 by the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio for his long service to the team + his extensive role in shaping its legacy.  WBAY
