  • Packers players signed autographs at Festival Foods in Suamico Monday night after receiving $50 donations for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign. Major Catherine Fitzgerald said the fundraiser was the final push to boost holiday donations.  WBAY

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Average gas prices in Green Bay dropped 6.6 cents per gallon to $2.56 today as refineries wrap up maintenance and boost output ahead of the holiday season. National prices also fell and experts say the trend may continue into later 2025.  94.3 Jack FM
  • Gas prices in Green Bay dropped 6.6 cents to $2.56 today, according to GasBuddy. Appleton reported the same price and Wisconsin was lower at $2.51, while Michigan prices rose and the national average hit its lowest level since March 2021 with further drops expected.  WNCY

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Elena Talingo, a 19-year-old Preble High graduate who completed 132 college credits through UWGB's Rising Phoenix program (saving over $80K in tuition), will receive her bachelor's degree this Saturday. She will start a job with Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis.  UW-Green Bay

HEALTH NEWS

  • A Green Bay man suffered a heart attack last month while visiting family in Vietnam and his condition remains unknown as his family faces high treatment and repatriation expenses while waiting for a nurse visa to secure his flight home (they have raised about $14,000 in donations so far).  FOX 11

SPORTS NEWS

  • Recent weeks in the NFL have seen a surge in ACL tears, including incidents involving Packers players. Local orthopedic sports medicine surgeon Dr. Abby DeBruin (OSMS) explained that these injuries occur during rapid changes in direction and require surgery plus several months of rehabilitation.  NBC 26
