- ➤ The Green Bay Packers and Tork company have donated $25,000 in sustainable hygiene products to Rawhide Youth Services through the Tackle Hygiene with Every Catch campaign—Tork has contributed over $136,000 in products over the past five seasons. WBAY
- ➤ New Community Shelter broke ground on a $14 million supportive housing project in Green Bay on Tuesday, November 18th to offer extra structure for chronically homeless individuals transitioning from the shelter to independent living — the building will include 41 one-bedroom apartments and is expected to be finished in less than a year. - ➤ Green Bay welcomed the holiday season yesterday when Downtown Green Bay Inc. and On Broadway Inc. launched a winter event schedule on CityDeck—featuring a new Brilliant Bulbs Community Art Display, an expanded Christkindlmarket with workshops and heated areas, and upcoming events like the Winter Beer and Wine Walk, Small Business Saturday, and the Holiday Parade. - ➤ Local men at De Pere’s First United Presbyterian Church baked 850 fruitcakes for the annual fundraiser on November 18 — a tradition since 1956 — to raise funds for meals at the N.E.W. Community Shelter, youth events and church ministries. FOX 11

- ➤ UW-Green Bay announced a $1 million gift from alumnus Dr. Paul J. Schilling ’82 to establish the new Dr. Charles Ihrke Scholarship Fund—this fund will offer a renewable $5,000 scholarship each year to incoming undergraduate STEM students with financial need, with awards beginning for Fall 2026. - ➤ The West De Pere School District purchased a building on Eisenhower Road for $3.2M to serve as its new district office and alternative programming hub and will move there in April—bringing Phantom Knight Charter School and West Academy from its current space while saving $1.2M in rent.
