- ➤ Vietnam veterans who took an honor flight from Washington, D.C. were warmly welcomed back on Saturday at Austin Straubel International Airport in Green Bay—51 veterans felt the support of hundreds gathered to honor their service. The community marked a change from the cold reception these veterans received in the 1970s. WBAY
- ➤ St. John’s Ministries in Green Bay has opened its men’s and women’s shelters for the winter season to offer housing, meals, and warm clothing through donations. The women’s shelter expanded from 58 to 70—will pilot an off-season service from May 1 to October 31 to help those in need after winter ends. WBAY

- ➤ On Saturday, The Art Garage hosted a book fair in Green Bay that celebrated local and regional storytellers with books from local authors and artists. The event featured a book drive for the Give A Kid A Book campaign organized by Friends of the Brown County Library — helping children get books — and let readers connect with their favorite writers. - ➤ FoodShare recipients in Wisconsin face delays in receiving November benefits as the state waits for federal funding to be released—residents can still use remaining funds on their Quest cards until the benefits are processed.
