- ➤ On Sunday, Heritage Hill State Park hosted the second Wisconsin Civil War Encampment Reenactment where visitors dressed like soldiers and learned about home front life in the 1860s while children played baseball and joined a scavenger hunt—adults watched 19th-century camp cooking and military trials during the four-hour event. - ➤ Today marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month as Governor Tony Evers proclaimed a celebration to honor Hispanic contributions to our state. - ➤ The second annual Hmong Pre-New Year Festival was held Sunday at the Brown County Fairgrounds in Green Bay, drawing between 1,000 and 1,500 people who participated in sporting, dancing, and singing competitions.
