- ➤ On Labor Day, many families visited Bay Beach to enjoy rides, treats and family fun as the park ended its weekday schedule. Labor Day Monday was the last weekday the park was open—moving forward it will operate on weekends only from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. WBAY
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Green Bay Police responded to a traffic incident early Monday morning at the intersection of Packerland Dr. and He Nis Ra Lane when a woman exited a moving vehicle—she died at the scene despite life-saving measures. FOX 11
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Investigators charged 17 people after a sophisticated fraud scheme defrauded Fox Communities Credit Union of nearly $200,000 by using phone scams to gather verification codes and access members' accounts, and the credit union reimbursed each affected customer. Green Bay Press-Gazette
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ COMSA, a local immigrant resource center, ended its summer school program on Aug. 28 with a lively celebration that featured a crazy hat parade and school-themed bingo with prizes.
