  • On Sunday, dozens of faith leaders and community members gathered inside the bandshell at St. James Park despite the rain to hold an interfaith prayer service called "A Bridge Is Stronger Than a Wall" to show support for migrants—refugees and asylum seekers. The service was organized by Migration Advocacy of Brown County and JOSHUA’s Spiritual Leaders Caucus.  WBAY

EDUCATION NEWS

  • UW-Oshkosh and UW-Green Bay police are reviewing active threat training protocols after false shooting reports spread nationwide. UW-Oshkosh move-in starts Friday — and UWGB will update its alert systems ahead of its later move-in to keep everyone safe.  94.3 Jack FM

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Howard Village Board will review a revised deer hunting plan today at 6:30 p.m. in the board room at 2456 Glendale Ave that adds four new hunting areas + lowers the 100-yard rule to 75 yards. The plan lets the board request an extra 20 nuisance permits from the DNR + secure additional permits if hunters take half of the surveyed deer.  FOX 11
