- ➤ Yesterday marked the 27th anniversary of the Door County Tornado—a powerful EF-3 event that struck Door County on August 23 with winds near 160 mph and a 5.1-mile trail of damage that snapped trees at Murphy Park near Egg Harbor and damaged homes along Highway 42. FOX 11
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Over 50 protesters gathered outside the governor's mansion on August 23 to urge Gov. Tony Evers to fulfill his promise to decrease the prison population. Advocates and formerly incarcerated individuals pressed him to advance decarceration policies — saying his inaction on reducing prisoner numbers and handling probation revocations has hurt many.
