- ➤ Green Bay will honor Weldon Tucker for saving a 6-year-old autistic girl from running toward busy traffic—Mayor Eric Genrich invited Tucker and the family to the Common Council Meeting on August 19 to receive a certificate of recognition. WBAY
- ➤ The Allouez Department of Public Works will meet Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at village hall to study whether the village should apply for a water rate hike from the state Public Service Commission due to increased operation costs & repairs to aging infrastructure. Water rates were raised in June and last May. WBAY

- ➤ The Miracle League of Green Bay will end its 19th season on Aug.9 at 8:30 a.m.—players will celebrate with an Olympic-themed ceremony at Resch Miracle Field in Allouez’ Optimist Park and teams will play one inning games later to honor 12 graduating players. NBC 26
