- ➤ Students from Blackwell Job Corps replaced the leaking roof on the lion building at NEW Zoo and Adventure Park in Suamico on July 10. The zoo said purchased materials and hands-on carpentry training for 20 students will help prepare them for union jobs—construction is expected to wrap up in a couple days. FOX 11

- ➤ Nature’s Way used geothermal energy at its Green Bay facility on July 9 to cut CO2 emissions by 20% + about 850 tons each year. Drilling will finish in November + the project will be complete by Q3. WTAQ

- ➤ Green Bay released new renderings for the Shipyard District Park on Thursday that show outdoor seating and shipyard-themed art sculptures—part of a multi-phase redevelopment that began in August 2022—and noted that construction is expected to start next spring with Phase Two costing $10 million, including $5 million from grants.
