  • Titletown will kick off Packers Family Fest on Aug. 2 from 1:30 to 7 p.m. (free games, art projects, and food options will be available) before Packers practice starts later at Lambeau Field.  NBC 26

CRIME NEWS

  • Tonia Piontek pleaded not guilty on Monday in Brown County court to charges of first-degree intentional homicide for fatally stabbing her fiancé at their Smith Street home on April 13; she is set to return for a status conference on Oct. 2.  FOX 11

CULTURE NEWS

  • Green Bay Botanical Garden is hosting live music concerts this summer—featuring a Jimmy Buffett tribute on July 11, a Chicago tribute on August 8, and a Bon Jovi tribute on September 5. Guests can buy snacks and meals and visit a new garden exhibit through September 2.  WBAY

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Green Bay Area Public Schools awaits the release of $3.4 million in Title grants needed for bilingual education, counseling, and after-school programs, but the federal freeze on $72 million statewide could force the district to cut costs if the funds remain locked—District Superintendent Vicki Bayer said the district will call on state legislators and the community for help if the freeze extends into the new school year.  WBAY

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Governor Tony Evers signed the state budget that set aside $330 million to help ease rising child care costs and keep centers open in Wisconsin. The funding will support programs through June 2026—though some providers say more money is needed to prevent further rate hikes.  FOX 11
