- ➤ On June 6, kids flocked to Mead Pool in Appleton as school ended and summer began. The Joannes Aquatic Center in Green Bay will open today because of a staffing shortage and Taylor Park Pool in Fond du Lac will open midweek after heater issues are fixed — residents can use Fairgrounds Aquatic Center in the meantime. - ➤ The Miracle League of Green Bay started its 19th season on Saturday with an opening ceremony where former Green Bay Packer Johnnie Gray spoke to the kids—games continued throughout the day for 213 players on 16 teams with the help of 300 volunteers. WBAY
