- ➤ The Brown County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Juelz Aaron Kernaghan, a developmentally disabled 18-year-old last seen leaving Bay Haven Treatment Center near 3150 Gershwin Drive on Monday, June 2 at about 2:00 p.m. (he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, light colored jeans, and a multi-colored backpack). - ➤ Negotiations continue ahead of the 5 p.m. deadline to move downtown Green Bay coal piles to keep a $15 million state grant—officials said that failure to finalize a deal risks losing key funding. The Brown County Board of Supervisors will meet at 7 p.m. in the Central Library basement—county leaders must approve the agreement by June 6. WNCY
- ➤ Brown County Parks Department opened H.J. DeBaker Eagles Nest Park & Boat Launch at 3265 Nicolet Dr on May 28th to repurpose a former supper club site — the facility features a seven-foot-deep harbor for shelter during storms, four launch lanes, 71 boat trailer parking stalls, 19 single-vehicle spots and a boat wash, with walkways offering clear sunset views over Green Bay.
