  • The Hobart Volunteer Fire Department hosted a free community event on Sunday in Hobart with bounce houses, food trucks and raffle baskets to raise funds for new equipment—attendees also learned about the cadet program and volunteer opportunities.  WBAY

CULTURE NEWS

  • A survey of 3,024 people ranked the Packers Pro Shop (at Lambeau Field) as one of Wisconsin’s most unexpectedly romantic spots due to its busy atmosphere and team gear sparking conversation. Other local places like Mars Cheese Castle and the Madison Farmers' Market Cheese Bread Line were also featured.  FOX 11

EDUCATION NEWS

  • On Friday, May 29, Chesterton Academy celebrated the graduation of 10 seniors at Saints Peter + Paul Catholic Church in Green Bay. The school held a Baccalaureate Mass followed by a reception with refreshments.  Green Bay News Network
  • Kim Rudness, a local mother who lost her son to Tay-Sachs, earned her RN certificate at NWTC — marking her determination to support other families through nursing. She will soon begin her career and share her resilience with those facing similar challenges.  FOX 11
