- ➤ Families in Green Bay can enjoy summer outings at Bay Beach Amusement Park with new weekday hours starting May 20 and the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary opening at 8 a.m. on May 24, while the guide also lists affordable museums, adventure parks, and outdoor attractions such as the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park and Titletown district — all offering fun activities for kids. - ➤ Local author Preston Taylor launched his first book Illustrated History of Green Bay with The Teaching Press at UW-Green Bay last week — he even helped bind the 100th copy. Reiss officials met on May 20 to discuss two proposals to relocate the coal piles south of Mason Street in Green Bay—county chair Patrick Buckley said the productive meeting comes as officials work to secure a deal before the $15 million state grant expires on May 30.
