- ➤ Luke Combs broke a Lambeau Field record on Saturday, May 16 when his weekend shows drew a combined 92,540 fans+ it marked the first time the stadium hosted back-to-back concerts by the same artist. NBC 26
- ➤ Starting Monday, June 1, the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park will let guests feed playful otters and receive a 5 x 7-inch canvas painting from art-savvy otters — tickets cost $15 or $30 with mixed options available, limited to four per day. Green Bay News Network
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Wisconsin’s minimum wage remains $7.25 per hour (unchanged since July 2009 and same as the federal rate), according to the state Department of Workforce Development. Some business groups report that employers often pay above the rate to attract workers. Green Bay Press-Gazette
- ➤ During March and April, the Port of Green Bay moved 40,782 tons of cargo after heavy rainfall disrupted vessel navigation and operations, Port Director Dean Haen said. - ➤ School districts in Northeast Wisconsin are facing a $600 million shortfall after lawmakers rejected a surplus deal that would have boosted special education funding last week. - ➤ The Brown County Library Ashwaubenon Branch closes on June 8, 2026 as it relocates to the new Pamperin Family Branch Library at 909 Cormier Road, opening July 18, 2026. - ➤ On May 18, UW-Green Bay awarded 23 bachelor's degrees in Organizational Leadership to incarcerated students at Oakhill Correctional Institute (as part of the UW Coalition for Higher Education in Prison).
