EDUCATION NEWS

  • At Luxemburg-Casco High School, senior Annie Annoye received a $10,000 surprise scholarship from the Brian LaViolette Scholarship Foundation during class today, administered through the Greater Green Bay Chamber’s Partners in Education program; she plans to attend University of Wisconsin-Green Bay to pursue a healthcare career.  FOX 11
  • Superintendents from Milwaukee, Madison, Kenosha, Racine & Green Bay urged lawmakers to revisit a $1.8B budget deal that failed in the Senate on May 13, saying it would have sent over $617M to schools to boost special education and ease local taxes.  Green Bay Press-Gazette
