- ➤ Beagie Smalls, the first beagle rescued from Ridglan Farms, is recovering from neuter surgery and ready for adoption today at the Wisconsin Humane Society's Green Bay campus. - ➤ Beagie Smalls, a four-year-old neutered beagle rescued by the Wisconsin Humane Society, was available for adoption beginning Friday at Ridglan Farms in Green Bay, with an adoption fee of $249 and extra care needed as he adjusts to a new home. WBAY

- ➤ Archivists at UW-Green Bay set aside a Friday in April to handle 52 nearly identical inquiries from residents seeking proof of Canadian ancestry after Canada eased its citizenship rules in December + requests focus on records from Brown, Marinette, Oconto and Outagamie counties and may take hours to process. - ➤ Green Bay Area Public School District and four other districts sent a letter to lawmakers urging them to reconsider a bipartisan plan for $617 million in extra special education funding after the bill failed in Wednesday’s special session; state Sen. Jamie Wall (D) opposed it over deficit concerns, and discussions for a compromise may continue. WTAQ
- ➤ Brown County Library will move to the new Pamperin Family Branch at 909 Cormier Road + a facility twice as large with expanded study and reading areas. The branch will open on Saturday, July 18 while the current facility at 1060 Orlando Drive will close on Monday, June 8. FOX 11
- ➤ Green Bay Area Public School District partnered with downtown Kavarna Coffeehouse on Friday, May 15 to launch the Cup of Kindness Project, where Fort Howard and West High School students designed cup sleeves that spark community kindness — a monthly effort celebrating local creativity. FOX 11
