De Pere VFW Post 2113 hosted a Veterans Against Hunger food drive in Wrightstown today.

Veterans, volunteers, and local Scouts loaded cars and a military tactical vehicle with food, hygiene supplies, and pet food for rural pantries.

On Saturday, 10,000 people marched across a 22-mile route from St. Norbert College in De Pere to the National Shrine in Champion for the 13th-annual Walk To Mary + one local family led in gratitude after their son’s miraculous recovery from a traumatic injury.

Thousands participated in the 13th Walk to Mary on May 2, 2026 as they walked 22 miles from Old St. Joseph Church in De Pere to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion, with participants recorded in Green Bay and Scott.

Local fraternities and sororities & the New Omegas Community Uplift Foundation hosted Green Bay Does Derby at Olde 41 Banquet Hall on Saturday to raise scholarship funds for area students.
