- ➤ On May 2, New Leaf Foods helped three Green Bay schools expand their community orchards. Jackson Elementary planted two cherry trees + Franklin and McAuliffe Elementary planted apple, pear, and cherry trees for future use in school food programs. FOX 11
- ➤ During the NFL Draft on April 26, free shuttles and buses brought safe rides for local fans, logging 2,627 rides + 9,013 passengers. The program used 40 shuttle vans + 91 drivers over 61 hours and was made possible by volunteer work, grants, donations, and Tavern League funds. WNCY

- ➤ Green Bay Police Department+Brown County Sheriff’s Office are accepting applications for the Teen Police Academy summer program that lets 30 high school students learn about law enforcement through tours, skill tests, and demonstrations. - ➤ Green Bay’s Department of Public Works said the Donald A. Tilleman Memorial Bridge will close from 6 a.m.—3 p.m. on May 5 and the Bart Starr Memorial Bridge will close from 6 a.m.—3 p.m. on May 6 for annual spring cleaning. The closures will affect about 45,300 daily motorists who must take detours while the Main Street bridge remains open. Green Bay Press-Gazette
