EDUCATION NEWS

  • UWGB broke ground on the Cofrin Technology and Education Center—a project more than seven years in the making. The new center will replace the Cofrin Library, which remains open during construction before being demolished, and is scheduled to open in 2027.  WBAY

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • After the NFL Draft drew 600,000 fans to Titletown, the final phase of road reopenings will begin Saturday, May 3, at 6 a.m. — this phase will open parts of South Oneida Street and Armed Forces Drive following earlier reopenings on May 1 and 2 that included Lombardi Avenue and South Ridge Road.  WeAreGreenBay.com
  • The City of Green Bay announced its Grow Solar Green Bay—Fox Valley program for 2025 to let residents in Oneida, Brown, Outagamie and Winnebago counties buy solar panels at lower costs in partnership with the Midwest Renewable Energy Association and local groups. This group buy plan uses over ten years of experience to help lower energy bills and support clean energy in our community.  Green Bay News Network
