EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Green Bay's new west-side elementary school will be named Starr Elementary to honor Packers great Bart Starr and his wife Cherry—school board members confirmed the name Monday night. Students from Kennedy, Keller and MacArthur Elementary Schools will attend the new school built on the former Kennedy site, where plans include displaying busts of the couple. FOX 11

- ➤ Endangered piping plovers have returned to the Cat Island Chain near Green Bay as experts note that one bird, known as Ms. Packer, has come back after previously fledging 10 chicks since 2019.
