- ➤ Joelle Blaser, a Green Bay woman, was charged Thursday with first degree reckless homicide for the overdose death of her long-time partner who died September 2 at the Green Bay Rehabilitation Center after allegedly giving him a Tylenol PM bottle containing Xanax and fentanyl—records note she snuck the drugs into his hospital visit despite a previous ban. - ➤ Jacob Ventura was convicted Thursday for his role in a 2022 murder on the city’s west side where Randall Denny was fatally shot at Perkins and Western avenues on April 30 — Ventura pleaded no contest to aiding a felon and being a felon in possession of a firearm, with sentencing set for June 17 while Alejandro Cantu received 15 years and Gustavo Cantu will be sentenced on May 23.
