  • Local fundraisers have begun for Sister Bay/Liberty Grove Fire Chief Chris Hecht after he suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm in Indianapolis on April 11 and underwent three surgeries to improve blood flow; he has been on a ventilator since the event — nearly $74,000 of an $80,000 goal has been raised through GoFundMe and donations at Nicolet Bank to help his family cover unexpected expenses.  Green Bay Press-Gazette
