- ➤ The NFL—focusing on more than football—will host community events during the draft week that will benefit local groups such as Habitat for Humanity and West De Pere Middle School, where students will join retired players for a panel discussion on mental wellness. FOX 11

- ➤ Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul held a free town hall meeting at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay on April 17th from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Local residents asked him questions and got answers during the event. WBAY
- ➤ Brown County’s Board of Supervisors gave Green Bay $3.5M from the American Rescue Plan to build a new fire station and 200 affordable homes on the old Badger Sheet Metal site in the 400 block of South Broadway—county officials said the funds must be used by the end of September or returned. The new fire station will replace older facilities on Washington Street and Shawano Avenue—officials noted that the Washington Street station stopped being used last year. WTAQ
- ➤ Governor Tony Evers delivered a radio address today to celebrate the upcoming NFL Draft in Titletown, noting that the event will bring visitors and boost the local economy. He said $2 million in state grants will support marketing efforts—local businesses and communities in Green Bay are set to benefit. FOX 11
