- ➤ Willow Tree Cornerstone Child Advocacy Center staff planted pinwheels outside their S. Monroe Ave. property on April 1 to honor National Child Abuse Prevention Month (each pinwheel stands for a child helped this year). The display will remain through the end of April. WTAQ
- ➤ Construction is underway on New Community Shelter’s $14 million Permanent Supportive Housing Project to provide safe, stable housing as part of its structured program. It broke ground in November and will be completed in roughly 10 to 12 months. WTAQ
- ➤ Ruby's Pantry permanently closed its 80-plus pop-up sites in Northeast Wisconsin on Monday due to rising distribution costs and economic challenges (it served over 200,000 families before shutting down). FOX 11
- ➤ Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity is accepting applications for its Homeownership Program where seven local applicants will partner to build and purchase homes using 0% interest mortgages and 250–500 hours of sweat equity; applications close April 17. WTAQ

- ➤ WPS filed a rate request with the Public Service Commission on Wednesday, proposing electric bills rise $11 in 2027 and $5 in 2028 while natural gas bills increase $7 in 2027.
