  • UW-Green Bay is using Big Interview, an AI-powered coaching tool, to help graduating students prepare for job interviews. The program offers instant feedback on tone, eye contact, and vocabulary in both class sessions and self-led practice.  UW-Green Bay
  • Pulaski High School students produce a weekly newscast on the Raider Strong Network for their peers every Friday — local reporter Emerson Lehmann recently discussed TV news careers with the class.  WBAY

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • A pile of ice was spotted Monday morning in the waters of Green Bay in Brown County— runoff from Blizzard Elsa was needed, experts said. Warmer weather should melt the ice soon, and boaters are advised to take caution.  FOX 11
  • Migrating trumpeter and tundra swans draw birdwatchers to wetlands near Black Creek as the spring migration unfolds from mid-March to mid-May. Local clubs schedule free guided walks at Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary (6:30 a.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays from April 22 to May 16).  FOX 11

  • Concerned citizens gathered Monday night at the Blue Spruce in Oconto County for a town hall about Newcap. Attendees learned the nonprofit is set to close by year’s end amid reports of misused taxpayer funds and planned investigations (which may affect services for 10 counties).  FOX 11
  • Gov. Tony Evers vetoed a bill today that would have enrolled Wisconsin in a nationwide private school voucher program — he cited concerns over cost and accountability, leaving the current public school funding unchanged.  WNCY

  • Residents in Brown County received Packers invoices today for a chance to purchase four face value tickets at Lambeau Field — each costing $155. Payment is due by April 17 via online, credit card, or check.  94.3 Jack FM
