- ➤ The U.S. Postal Service said 1,200 residences and businesses near Lambeau Field will not get mail from April 24 to 26 due to street parking restrictions for the NFL draft—mail will be marked undeliverable—and customers should request a mail hold from their local post office. - ➤ C. Reiss Co., Brown County, and the city of Green Bay will resume talks to move coal piles from downtown to a county-owned site at the mouth of the Fox River — the move is linked to a $15 million state grant that will support the project if an agreement is reached. Green Bay Press-Gazette
- ➤ Fox Valley utility companies are preparing for potential power outages from an incoming storm this weekend. Wisconsin Public Service and Kaukauna Utilities have crews on standby—urging residents to avoid downed power lines and keep emergency supplies ready. WNCY
- ➤ The village of Ashwaubenon will close portions of South Oneida Street (from Lombardi Avenue to Stadium Drive) and Armed Forces Drive (from South Oneida Street to Holmgren Way) at 7 a.m. today for NFL draft stage construction until May 10. Additional lane closures on Lombardi Avenue and South Ridge Road will begin in mid-April and continue until May 2 to support the draft campus setup. Green Bay Press-Gazette
- ➤ Green Bay man Scott Ainsworth was identified as the first person to receive a $1 million check from Elon Musk’s America PAC—he won it for signing a petition opposing activist judges ahead of the state Supreme Court race. He was shown in a social media post on Wednesday, and Musk will give out two more checks during his talk in Wisconsin on March 30. Green Bay Press-Gazette
