A 29-year-old Green Bay woman was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence when a trooper stopped her for speeding on I-41 near the Village of Ashwaubenon on Saturday night—she had a child under 16 in the vehicle.

Green Bay officials are preparing for the NFL draft on April 24 and expect nearly $2.5 million in public safety costs—shared by the city, Ashwaubenon, and Brown County.

Gov. Tony Evers recommended $1 million to help cover expenses, and the municipalities will coordinate state funding if approved.
