- ➤ Tuesday afternoon, the Brown County Homeless and Housing Coalition hosted Street Support at the Salvation Army to connect unhoused and under-housed neighbors with essential local services, following a federal count that included over 50 individuals. WBAY

- ➤ A De Pere family lost their home last Friday when a suspected anti-lock brake malfunction triggered a fire in their daughter’s 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe that spread into the house, causing over $1M in damage and forcing them to move into temporary housing. WBAY
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Keller in Kaukauna announced it purchased Hoffman Planning and Design from Appleton in a contractor merger on Tuesday—Hoffman will remain a division of Keller and owner Sam Statz shifted to a business development role with terms not disclosed. WHBY

- ➤ The 2nd annual winter Ale on the Trail event invites families to enjoy a skiing, snowshoeing, and brewery tasting trail at Brown County Reforestation Camp in Suamico starting Saturday, Feb. 7, noon to 4 p.m. A post-party follows from 4 to 8 p.m. FOX 11

- ➤ UW‑Green Bay mourned the loss of Professor Emeritus Clifford Abbott, who taught there from 1974 to 2015 and led initiatives like the Oneida Language Project to preserve Indigenous language traditions. A memorial celebration will be scheduled later. UW-Green Bay

- ➤ State and city officials met Tuesday to review flood-reduction plans for East River Van Beaver Park and Emilie Park; the project is part of Flood Insurance Awareness Week (Feb. 1–7) aimed at lessening future flood risks in nearby neighborhoods. FOX 11
