- ➤ Give BIG Green Bay will host its 9th annual day of giving on Feb. 25, from noon to noon, spotlighting 50 local nonprofits with support from the Packers and Greater Green Bay Community Foundation. The Foundation will offer a $250,000 matching grant to boost donations on the day. FOX 11

- ➤ Plans for a potential AI data center in Greenleaf were discontinued on Jan. 12 after community members voiced concerns during an informational session at Gnarly Cedar Brewery in Wrightstown - Cloverleaf Infrastructure said it will explore other locations in Northeast Wisconsin. 94.3 Jack FM

- ➤ Green Bay hosts Global Game Jam from 5 p.m. Jan. 30 to 5 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Urban Hub (Greater Green Bay Chamber venue), inviting over 50 developers—both experienced and newcomers—to create games in 48 hours in a spirited, collaborative event sponsored by UW-Green Bay’s CGIM. UW-Green Bay

- ➤ UW-Green Bay held a topping out ceremony today at its new five-story Cofrin Technology and Education Center as part of a $101M project, with faculty, staff and community members signing the final structural beam. - ➤ Warmer winters are reducing ice cover along Lake Michigan and could harm fish that rely on winter ice to protect their eggs. Fisheries specialist Titus Seilheimer from UW–Green Bay says these changes may reshape Great Lakes fish populations. UW-Green Bay
- ➤ Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary celebrated its 90th birthday on Jan. 13 and will host events throughout 2026 to honor its legacy of animal rescues and community joy. The park plans facility updates (including trails, education buildings, and rehabilitation centers) to support future efforts. FOX 11

- ➤ On Tuesday, the Wisconsin Court of Appeals ruled that ticket re-seller StubHub owed the state $17.1 million in interest, back taxes, penalties, and fees for ticket sales from 2008 to 2013, after failing to pay the required 5% sales tax on $154 million in Wisconsin ticket sales. WBAY

- ➤ A new rehabilitation hospital in Howard is under construction and will have the region's first traumatic brain injury unit. Hospital Sisters Health System and Lifepoint Rehabilitation will run the center, which doubles current rehab capacity and is expected to open later this year. WNCY
