- ➤ Overnight heavy rains washed manure off an El Na Farms field east of Casco along Highway 54 into an intermittent stream that connects to Rio Creek. The DNR said it was notified early Friday while farm workers began cleaning up + monitoring continues. FOX 11

- ➤ Local company 5K Fibres in Neenah will ship eight semi‐trucks loaded with 1.4 million surplus masks to Matter 360 in Minnesota today to support health care facilities and reduce landfill waste – repurposing stored pandemic-era supplies. WBAY
- ➤ State health officials reported that over 900 residents were hospitalized with the flu by the week ending Jan. 3, topping last winter’s peak as virus activity spiked around the holidays. Doctors urged residents to get vaccinated since the shot still offers protection against other emerging strains. Green Bay Press-Gazette

- ➤ On Broadway Inc. (the developer) has requested a revised timeline for the Green Bay Public Market project to finish construction by Dec. 31, 2027, with updated documents due by May 1, 2026.
