Luminary Walk @ Baird Creek presented by Toonen Properties

Enjoy a relaxing evening walk surrounded by the warm glow of hundreds of luminaries. Bring your family, friends, or four-legged companions and enjoy the trail at your own pace. Reminder: sunset is at 4:25. Flashlights are allowed.

The 1.2-mile (one-way) paved trail is perfect for:

• Solo walkers

• Couples and friends

• Families with strollers or wagons

• Dogs on leashes

Prefer a shorter walk? Little Explorers Loop sponsored by KI

A smaller loop trail, “Little Explorers Loop,” will also be available through the prairie for those who don't want to walk the entire 1.2-mile out-and-back paved trail.

Tickets & Cost

(Kids ages 3 & under are free)

• $10 per person

• $20 per family — up to 4 people (3 & under free)

• Cash (preferred) and cards accepted at the door

• Advance registration is recommended to guarantee your spot.

• Walk-ins are welcome, but admission will depend on available parking and event capacity.

Lanterns

Lanterns will be available while supplies last on a donation basis.

You are also welcome to:

• Walk the trail without a lantern as the trail will be lit by luminaries, or

• Make your own lantern and bring it from home.

Event Timing

Sunset is at 4:25 pm. Lights will go out, and cleanup will begin at 8:00 PM. Please arrive during your time slot.

Parking

Families & Littles Loop Participants

Families with children or anyone planning to walk only the shorter loop may park at the Lower Parking Lot :

191 Baird Creek Rd, Green Bay, WI 54311

Please note that the lower lot has VERY limited parking . If the lot and street parking are full, you will be redirected to the other end of the trail.

All Other Participants

Please use the Danz Ave entrance at 2130 Basten St, across from Danz Elementary School. To access the Danz Ave end of the paved trail:

• Enter from Danz Ave .

• Park along Basten St , which intersects Danz Ave at Danz Elementary School.

• Please park along the right side of the street .

• Walk from the road down to the paved trail.

Parking assistants and lighted entrance points will be available to help direct you.
