- ➤ The Brown County Home Builders Association launches its fall home tour tomorrow with 37 new construction homes on display, including the first Habitat home in over a decade at 940 Ricky Drive in Green Bay. The Habitat Homestead home is a 1,200 sq ft, four-bedroom, two-bath house built by volunteers — a first-of-a-kind effort to offer affordable low to moderate income housing. FOX 11
- ➤ Amanda's House in Green Bay is adding a memory garden with personalized engraved bricks to honor lost loved ones and raise funds for renovations. Founder Paula Jolly said the sober living program for women and children will sell small bricks for $75 and large ones for $125 — a meaningful way to help residents remember family. WBAY

- ➤ Today, Microsoft announced it will invest an additional $4 billion in Mount Pleasant to expand its AI datacenter, raising its total Wisconsin investment to over $7 billion and promising thousands of good jobs. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ St. Norbert College’s Army ROTC program in De Pere will continue after the Army changed its directive following a nationwide review, averting its planned closure alongside programs at UW-Oshkosh, UW-Green Bay, Ripon College, and Marian University. The program—part of the Fox Valley Battalion—has trained over 980 military leaders since 1936 and will keep operating as an extension unit. 94.3 Jack FM
- ➤ UW-Green Bay reported a 3% rise in enrollment for fall 2025 with 11,500 students enrolled so far — the increase comes as UW-Oshkosh also shows modest growth despite a drop in international numbers; final enrollment reports are due later this fall. UW-Green Bay

- ➤ UW-Green Bay received a $330,000 grant from SC Johnson on September 18 to study microplastics in fish from Lake Michigan and the Bay of Green Bay—research that will begin with new hires and lab tests in 2026 and publish results in 2028.
