- ➤ The Farmers’ Market on Broadway returns on Wednesday, May 20 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Broadway District and will run weekly until Sept. 30, while a downtown Saturday market starts this week on South Washington and Doty Streets from 7 a.m. to noon until Oct. 31. FOX 11

- ➤ A grave marker now honors Charles de Langlade (known as the father of Wisconsin) at Allouez Catholic Cemetery, where his remains were reinterred from an unmarked grave after La Baye closed, recognizing his role in establishing the region's first fur trading post on the eastside banks of the Fox River. - ➤ Average gas prices in Appleton jumped nearly 26 cents to $4.56 per gallon this week, while Green Bay's prices rose 14.8 cents to $4.54 (according to GasBuddy). Geopolitical tensions may push prices higher before Memorial Day. NBC 26

- ➤ Congressman Tom Tiffany, a candidate for governor, held an event on Monday at 10 a.m. in Green Bay with former Governor Scott Walker, focusing on unlocking Wisconsin’s potential. Protesters gathered outside the Village Grille Events Center to oppose tax cuts that reduced state and federal health care. WBAY
- ➤ Bellevue officials plan to install a porkchop configuration at Landmark Blvd. and Costco Way to ease congestion after temporary left-turn restrictions caused issues. Final design and engineering are underway as the village awaits bid responses for a project estimated to cost about 110,000 dollars. FOX 11
