- ➤ On Tuesday, Apr. 28, the Greater Green Bay YMCA launched a community fridge and pantry outside its Ferguson Family YMCA on Pine Street to reduce food waste and address food insecurity. The program (in partnership with The Fridge) offers free access to fresh donated food for those in need. WNCY
- ➤ The National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion expects over 10,000 pilgrims at the Walk to Mary pilgrimage on May 2 as attendees choose one of three routes — a 22-mile, 14-mile or 1.7-mile walk starting at Old St. Joseph Church in De Pere and ending at the shrine in town. Green Bay Press-Gazette
- ➤ Nourish Farms — known for a decade-long support of Northeast Wisconsin communities — received the UW-Green Bay Council of Trustees Community Service Award on April 28 at the spring reception and dinner in Green Bay.
