About this event
Homeschool Art Classes
Thursdays at 11:00 AM | Ages 5–15 | September–May
Give your homeschooler a weekly opportunity to create, learn, explore, and connect with other kids through art.
Urban Cultural Arts Homeschool Art Classes are designed to provide homeschool families with a consistent, hands-on creative enrichment experience. Each week, students explore different art forms, materials, techniques, and creative processes while building confidence and developing their own artistic style.
Beginners are always welcome—no previous art experience is needed.
Once registered an instructor will email you to receive all additional registration information. Please call or email us if you have any additional questions or concerns.

What Will Students Create?
Projects change throughout the year so students can experience a variety of art forms, including:
• Painting & mixed media
• Pottery & clay
• Watercolor
• Mosaic art
• Seasonal and cultural art projects
• Sculpture & 3D art
• Drawing & creative design
• Collaborative projects
• STEAM-inspired art activities
• And more
Our goal is to go beyond simple arts and crafts. Students are encouraged to experiment, problem-solve, make creative decisions, learn new techniques, and take pride in creating artwork that is uniquely their own.
Ages
Homeschool Art Classes are designed for ages 5–15 .
Projects may be adapted based on age and ability so younger and older students can participate at an appropriate level while still enjoying the experience together.
Can Parents Stay?
Yes! Parents may drop their child off or stay during class .
We understand that every homeschool family is different. Parents are welcome to remain onsite to observe and support their child, or you may use class time as a drop-off enrichment activity.
Parents do not need to purchase a ticket unless they would also like to complete the project.
When Are Classes?
Every Thursday at 11:00 AM
Classes are offered September through May .
Most classes are approximately 60 minutes , although some projects may require additional time.
